Whether it is a stage production, a feature article, food, or a journey, I carry out my photography assignments with respect and a desire to build mutual trust.
I live in Turku, but take on assignments all over Finland and abroad.
Press Photography
A press photo doesn’t explain – it contributes to the storytelling by deepening the text. I photograph people and phenomena so that my photos become part of the article’s core.
I work closely with journalists and editorial teams. My photos are published in magazines, newspapers, and organizational communication.

Theatre Photography
Theatre photography captures a moment that is real only on stage – and precisely for that reason, it is valuable. I photograph performances, rehearsals, and productions without disturbing their rhythm.
I understand how light, space, and the actors’ expressions work. My photos are used in theatre marketing, documentation, and publications.
I have photographed at the Finnish National Theatre, city theatres, and freelance productions.
Food Photography
Food photography is born from light, rhythm, and sensitivity to the dish’s concept. I understand how kitchens and cooking work – and I value the ingredients used.
My background as a chef helps me see the structure, flavor, and atmosphere of the dish before it is photographed. I work with cookbooks, restaurants, and food brands, in studios or on location.
My food photos are a delight for the eyes – delicious, aesthetic, and ready to use.
Travel Photography
I photograph places, but above all, people and their stories from different parts of the world. My travel photos arise in moments where culture, light, and life meet.
Assignments in over 40 countries have taught me to recognize and appreciate the right moment. My photos combine a documentary feel with visual appeal.
I’m experienced in working with tourism organizations, and my photos are suitable for both journalism and marketing.
My Books
I have contributed to several cookbooks where I was responsible for all the photographic material. As a food photographer, I draw on my expertise as a chef so that the images convey the feeling of how good food tastes and looks.
