A Theatre Photographer Who Understands the Logic of the Stage

A theatre production is not just a performance – it is a flow of moments that deserve to be captured with precision and emotion. On stage, a theatre production interprets and portrays our complex world. I specialize in theatre photography that respects the director’s and actors’ expressions, as well as the importance of scenography and lighting. I offer theatre photography services for all types of productions – large and small – throughout Finland and abroad.

What Makes Good Theatre Photography?
  • When photographs capture the spirit of the performance and preserve moments that live on beyond the stage
  • An understanding of visual expression: light, shadow, scenography – a visual language that serves both documentation and marketing purposes
  • Building narratives through still images that tell a story and convey the soul of the production
  • Seamless collaboration with the director, actors, and the entire production team

A good theatre photographer takes every shot with love for the art form and a deep understanding of the uniqueness of performing arts. Theatre photography should capture what moves us, speaks to us, and stays with us.

Why Choose Me?
  • Extensive experience: Helsinki City Theatre, Lahti City Theatre, Finnish National Theatre, Fern Orchestra
  • Mastery of light and movement – I know when to capture the moment without disturbing the performance
  • Artistic vision as well as documentation – my photos serve both internal archiving and visual communication purposes
  • Thanks to my fluency in Finnish, Swedish, and English, I work comfortably with multilingual productions

My photos have been published in theatre publications, marketing materials, and the daily press. I am committed to every assignment and strive to capture the unique expression of each production.
